Course Description

Public relations professionals do more than promote a message. They influence an organization’s impact on communities and support its ethical standards and goals. In this course, you’ll examine the role of social responsibility in an organization, analyze real-world campaigns as they relate to Truth and Reconciliation in Canada, and learn how equity and accessibility are applied in PR. Whether you’re in a corporate, nonprofit, or community-based role, this course will help you apply a thoughtful, authentic and socially aware lens to your communication practice.

The final assignment for this course is due one week after the course ends.
