This course will introduce you to the basics of running a freelance editing business, challenging you to look at yourself as both an editor and a small business owner. You will explore topics such as managing cash flow, finding new clients, choosing a speciality, marketing your business, and charging GST.
Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to better see yourself as both an editor and a small business owner, with the tools required to make decisions from a business perspective.
The final assignment for this course is due one week after the course ends.
