Course Description

The vocational rehabilitation profession advocates for work as a fundamental human right of all people. In this course, you’ll learn strategies for job placement and development that enable job seekers with disabilities to obtain sustainable and competitive employment. We’ll discuss methods for involving the job seeker, the family, the employer and other stakeholders in all phases of career development and job placement. We’ll also review the rights of people with disabilities, as well as the roles of job restructuring, modifications and accommodations; barrier assessments; and inclusive design.
