Course Description

In this course, you’ll learn how to design and implement a transformative evaluation and synthesize the learning from the experience. Building on your knowledge of evaluation through a reconciliation lens, of evaluators as change agents, and of evaluative thinking as a leadership function, you will explore issues such as:

  • Engaging with primary intended users (the people who will ultimately use the findings of your evaluation) to co-design and co-create transformative evaluations
  • Using mixed methods and triangulation techniques to validate data and
  • Emergent and adaptive designs consistent with complexity theory
