StrongerBC future skills grant funding

UPDATE (Nov. 17, 2025): All StrongerBC future skills grant-funded seats in the Fall 2025 program have now been filled. Applications are now closed. Please contact microcredentials@thecdm.ca for information about taking individual courses in the program, or other program offerings. 

Seats for this program are very limited. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Follow instructions carefully because incomplete applications will be rejected.

 
Step 1:
Create a student account if you don’t already have one. Ensure your profile includes your address and social insurance number.
 
Step 2:
Use this form to apply for StrongerBC future skills grant funding for the Building Blocks of Digital Media program.
 
Step 3:
Using your B.C. Services Card Account, complete your B.C. government future skills grant application at https://www.futureskillsgrant.gov.bc.ca/login.

 

Once you have completed the steps above, here are the next steps:

  • Applications will be accepted on a first-complete, first-served basis.
  • You’ll receive an email if you’re approved. Do not register unless you receive an email with instructions; grant funding cannot be applied retroactively. 
  • You can log in to your student account and select My Applications to view the status of your application. If the Status says “Submitted,” then you are in the queue but have not reached a processing stage.
