Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP) Level 1 and StrongerBC future skills grant 

Use this application to apply for the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP) Level 1.

Applicants seeking funding through the StrongerBC future skills grant will be asked to complete additional grant-related questions as part of this application. Applicants seeking funding must also submit a separate StrongerBC future skills grant application through the BC Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills website.

Applicants who are not eligible for the StrongerBC future skills grant are still welcome to apply to the SMSCP program through this application.

How to Apply

Applicants seeking funding through the StrongerBC future skills grant must complete all of the following:

Step 1
Create a student account if you do not already have one. Ensure your profile includes your current address and Social Insurance Number (SIN).

Step 2
Complete and submit this application.

Step 3
Using your B.C. Services Card Account, complete your StrongerBC future skills grant application.

Note: You can complete Step 2 and Step 3 in either order. Just make sure you complete both steps. 

After You Apply

• Applications are reviewed on a first-complete, first-served basis.
• Approval for the SMSCP program does not guarantee approval for the StrongerBC future skills grant.
• Do not register for the program until you receive approval and registration instructions. Grant funding cannot be applied retroactively.
• You can view your application status under My Applications in your student account. A status of Submitted means your application has been received and is awaiting review.
